Africa is a big place! Uganda alone is all but the same size as the UK. We operate out of two rural sites, Kadunda and Kisimula village, in the middle of the country in the Nakaseke district. Located about 45 miles north-west of the capital city, Kampala, it is a two hour journey by road across some interesting terrain. Both of our sites are in very rural locations with very limited services and facilities. At Kadunda village there is electricity (which the charity funded connection to), though unfortunately the supply itself is somewhat sporadic. At Kisimula there is currently no power. At both sites water is sourced from boreholes that the charity was able to fund as part of our ongoing work to improve the standard of living for the wider communities.
